Las Vegas Sands has wanted a resort-casino in South Florida for years. A newly formed political committee received $17 million last month from one of the largest casino companies in the world, but. Jul 13, 2021 Las Vegas Sands the land based casino giant has released a statement of intent to involve itself in the online gaming sector and primarily the business to business arena. The announcement is no surprise as since the passing of its founder Sheldon Adelson in January this year it has made muted interest in the online gaming business.

The primary responsibility of the Sr UX Motion Designer – Gaming is to design user interface animations and other experience animation solutions to help guide and excite players in our live online casino game web applications. This position is a foundational part of a rapidly growing team, and plays a key role in the end-to-end product development process.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures.
- Collaborate with designers, visual and sound artists, engineers and product managers to craft best-in-class live gaming experiences.
- Design UX motion behaviors, systems and animations that orient, teach, guide the player experience, and add excitement and fulfillment to the user experience
- Develop high and low fidelity motion studies to inform UX design stages from proof-of-concept to delivery
- Rapidly build and iterate mockups, as well as polished high-fidelity designs and prototypes
- Partner with engineers to deliver motion design documentation and guidelines, primitives, , motion component libraries and frameworks
- Present and communicate effectively to a wide range of tech and non-tech audiences
- Contribute to and manage assets and components for a design system

- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain and any certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- 5+ years professional experience in Animation, Motion, Interaction or Graphic Design or equivalent design-related field
- Experience in responsive mobile-first UX and UI planning and design
- Understanding of design best practices for iOS and Android
- Working experience using motion design / animation tools such as Adobe After Effects, Blackmagic Fusion, or Apple Motion
- Experience in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Apple Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve
- Experience with using and informing design systems
- Working knowledge or experience in HTML/CSS ideal
- Experience designing assets and components for frameworks such as React Native or Greensock ideal
- Experience in 3D design tools such as Blender, 3D Studio Max, Maya or equivalent ideal
- Experience in UX design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Framer or Figma ideal
- Jira Experience ideal
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
